AI Safety Settings
This setting controls what the AI can dynamically generate live during your gameplay sessions.
Safe
Keeps AI generation highly restricted. It actively avoids stronger themes, intense violence, or suggestive content to give you the most controlled experience.
Moderate
Allows for more dramatic stories and mild violence or suggestive themes, while still keeping baseline boundaries active.
Mature
Unlocks maximum story flexibility and broader creative themes. It allows content containing moderate-to-heavy violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, or strong language.
Content Rating & Discovery Filters
These settings operate independently from your gameplay settings. They control what community-published content appears when you browse, search, or view other profiles.
Content Rating Preference
Filters public community stories into three distinct streams: Everyone, Teen, and Mature. Keep lower ratings selected if you prefer lighter content, or enable higher ratings if you are comfortable seeing mature community themes.
Unrated Content
Controls whether unclassified stories can appear on your Home and Discover pages. When disabled, Questsmith limits unrated content so you only browse stories that have already been categorized.
Why are they separate? The AI Safety Setting and Search Filters are completely independent. This allows players to create mature content privately while keeping their public Discover feeds safe and clean.
